iphone photos of cats in nedlands

This is not a Nedlands cat! But it is a friend’s cat Rugby, dressed as a dinosaur (while said friend holding him is dressed as a dinosaur too).
The photo is bad because black cats are hard to photograph and I was very drunk. But it is a cat as a dinosaur so I had to put it up.

How my cat spends of her time looking this winter. It is pretty cold here!

This is my favourite lady. She’s an older cat and walks strangely, I think she has arthritis in her back hips/legs. She’s very cynical acting mostly, but eventually got used to me enough to come get pats (I see her twice a day most of the time, my walk to work goes straight past her favourite places to hang).

Secret Six plus Dizz

thewolverina:

Going through old photos on my camera and found these:

Diesel got in the way of me trying to take photos of my complete (as possible) Secret Six trade collection.

She was unimpressed with these books taking up valuable napping real estate.

This is a baby cat in Nedlands! A friends kitten that I was house-sitting. She is pretty much the cutest and friendliest thing.

It’s been bad cat watching weather lately. Cold and rainy mornings and afternoons make long walks gross and the cats all stay inside or hidden anyway.
So have a cat from South of the River. My friend’s cat, Mal who is very friendly and curled up on my lap without me having any say in it.

jazzbird asked:

How many cats are there in Nedlands? Will you take photos of all of them?

Lots.

I will be trying! Indoor only cats might be hard though. Breaking into houses is bad and also hard work (and I am lazy).

I have been really sick this week. Chest infections are not conducive to finding new cat pictures.

So have an old one of sometimes-friendly but sometimes-angry Weird Coloured Cat, he is loafing in a yard that is definitely not his here.

This is a cat a block up from me on the same street. She is more than a little friendly. She will meow and follow strangers until they pat her.

Welcome to Cats In Nedlands. This is your hosts own kitten, Dizzy longing to be out in Nedlands at night.  Posts at this point will probably be twice weekly.
All posts unless otherwise stated will be of cats in and around Nedlands (and probably the rest of the western suburbs) in Perth, Western Australia. Depending on my travels, this may include cats (and other animals) from other places.
